What does the optimal hostel look like for me?
I am looking for a hostel where I can fulfill my mission to connect people and offer them a great time. I am willing to invest my own money.
My hostel doesn't need to make a big profit, but should be self-sustaining in the long run without further investment. Since I also see a hostel as a real estate investment, it is important to me to acquire the land and the property that goes with it.
Required equipment of the hostel:
- at least 30 beds
- own pool
- very good ratings at hostelworld and Google Maps
- beach nearby
- popular destination for backpackers
Where should the hostel best be located?
The hostel should be located in the Southern Hemisphere with warm temperatures from September to April. The government and situation in the country should be stable.
A legally secured purchase of the hostel / real estate / land should be possible. The hostel should be located in a place popular among backpackers. The place should be in reachable distance by plane (with intermediate stops) from Germany.
What is my motivation to run my own hostel?
I was able to gain a lot of experience and capital by founding numerous companies in the digital field. Now I am looking for a new project to follow my passion. I love to bring people together. A hostel would be the perfect opportunity to create great experiences for people.
